25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CDK8 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (AP94382) at 1:500 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Mouse Thymus; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; The section was incubated with CDK8 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (AP94382) at 1:100 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the AP94382-HRP and DAB (C-0010) staining.

Background Descriptions	This gene encodes a member of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase (CDK) family. CDK family members are known to be important regulators of cell cycle progression. This kinase and its regulatory subunit, cyclin C, are components of the Mediator transcriptional regulatory complex, involved in both transcriptional activation and repression by phosphorylation of the carboxy-terminal domain of the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II. This kinase regulates transcription by targeting the cyclin-dependent kinase 7 subunits of the general transcription initiation factor IIH, thus providing a link between the Mediator complex and the basal transcription machinery. Multiple pseudogenes of this gene have been identified. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2016][provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
