PHGDH Recombinant Mouse mAb

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with PHGDH monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (AP94608) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human Prostate; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15 min; The section was incubated with PHGDH Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (AP94608) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the AP94608-HRP and DAB (C-0010) staining.

Background Descriptions	This gene encodes the enzyme which is involved in the early steps of L-serine synthesis in animal cells. L-serine is required for D-serine and other amino acid synthesis. The enzyme requires NAD/NADH as a cofactor and forms homotetramers for activity. Mutations in this gene have been found in a family with congenital microcephaly, psychomotor retardation and other symptoms. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found, however the full-length nature of most are not known. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
